Ensō Swing Band

“we were absolutely knocked out…They produced such a clean sound with really tight rhythms, breezing through some popular jazz standards” South London Blog

The trio started life by hosting “Little Nan’s Jazz Jam” at Little’s Nan’s Bar in Catford. Their infectious take on early swing brought in fellow musicians, swing dancers and curious locals to the packed out bar every week.

When Little Nan’s in Catford was unfortunately closed the band rebranded themselves as Ensō Swing Band. They continue to perform around London at a variety of venues maintaining their calling to play a joyful mix of early American and European jazz that includes the music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Charles Trenet and others from the era.
